Pick13 is a card game where you pick 1 card or match 2 cards of the value of 13. The game is completed successfully when the cards in the deck are all matched.
Ace has the value of 1, Jack has the value of 11, Queen has the value of 12 and finally King has the value of 13. Examples of matching pair or cards are 6 & 7, 4 & 9, J & 2, Q & 1. King is the exception, as it as a value of 13 by itself.
The cards laid out in the shape of a pyramid can only be selected (or picked) if there is no cards on top of it. The cards laid out at the bottom are cards opened from the remaining deck of cards not on the pyramid. These opened cards can be selected depending on the game level. If playing the easy level, all the opened the cards can be selected. At the normal level, only the bottom card and the top 2 cards can be selected. At the hard level, only the top and bottom cards can be selected.
The game starts with 10 lives. 3 lives will be added when a game is successfully completed. If a game successfully completed in less than a 60 seconds, then 5 lives will be added. When all the lives are used, no new game can be started until the wait period is over.
